Last Stop Before Chicago!

The St. Joe free wall is a great option – depending on wind direction. We heard from two Loopers who had cleats ripped off their boats at this wall! But we expereinced a peaceful night, our bellies full of nearby Silver Beach Pizza.

We also heard from different Loopers that they were stuck on the wall due to problems with the railroad bridge operation. We didn’t experience any issues at all during our one-night stay.

There’s plenty of room for multiple boats, but there are no cleats so you must tie to the square metal posts. A first for us!

This free wall is ~60 miles from Grand Haven.
