A Great Alternative to the Grand Haven Wall

When the Grand Haven Free Wall gets uncomfortable, this nearby anchorage is a great alternative! You’re not in downtown Grand Haven, but it’s a quiet spot to drop the hook.

The area is surrounded by houses, so there’s not a lot of privacy. There is shore access at the nearby North Buchanan Beach, and a very short walk will take you to shops, including Dollar General.

This anchorage is less than 3 miles from the Grand Haven wall, and we moved here twice in the middle of the night due to unfavorable swell.
