Anchor at Buffalo Rock State Park

Although we didn’t make our way to shore during our rainy stay at Buffalo Rock State Park, we’ve heard it’s a great park to check out! Nearby is also the incredible Starved Rock State Park.

We anchored here for three nights, enjoying the views and waiting out passing weather. It was beautiful and quiet, and a great vantage point to watch other Loopers pass by.
