Good Fairweather Anchorage

This Gwynn Island anchorage isn’t the most remarkable one, but it’s a solid choice if winds are from the East to Southwest.

Our anchor bit and held firm right away.

The shoreline is dotted with houses, and we shared the anchorage with several other boats, including another Looper. We didn’t go ashore because we suspected it was all privately-owned land.

All in all, we had a quiet, uneventful night. Sometimes that’s all you need from an anchorage!
