next to a beautiful bridge
We consider the Bethune Point Park anchorage in Daytona Beach, Florida one of utility. It was crowded with other anchored boats and busy with boating activity along the adjacent ICW.
Unfortunately for us, the crew of a neighboring sailboat had a loud, angry, and ongoing argument throughout the afternoon. But we distracted ourselves by watching a local sailing club race. It was a blast to watch them “speed” along in their small sailboats!
After the sun went down, the lights of the Tom Staed Veterans Memorial Bridge were vibrant and colored the bridge’s reflection in the dark water.
We did not venture to shore, although there was access available via Bethune Point Park.
